Combined Phase 2A+2B (58.19 km) total, not this project's 19.75 km alone — see project notes. Funding: ADB ₹2,410.79 cr, JICA ₹1,310.74 cr, PPP ₹800 cr, Karnataka State ₹4,074.34 cr, Centre ₹1,260.54 cr (these five figures do not sum to the headline total — see notes)
Sanctioned, released and spent are different things: an allocation is not evidence money was spent. Part figures cover one contract, loan or package and are never used as the project's cost.

Notes and caveats
One money_entry here (₹14,788.101 cr) is the COMBINED cost for Phase 2A + 2B (58.19 km total), not this project's own 19.75 km alone — no source found apportions the figure between the two phases, so it is deliberately not split by estimate; it is flagged comparable_to_prior: false and excluded from this site's own derived "latest cost" figure for exactly that reason. To avoid double-counting in aggregate totals, the same combined figure is not repeated on blue-line-phase-2b; see that project's notes. Funding breakdown reported for the combined total: ADB ₹2,410.79 cr, JICA ₹1,310.74 cr, PPP ₹800 cr, Karnataka State ₹4,074.34 cr, Centre ₹1,260.54 cr — these five figures sum to about ₹9,856 cr, roughly ₹4,932 cr short of the ₹14,788.101 cr headline total; this gap is unresolved and flagged rather than corrected. Two package-level civil-works contracts are also on file (₹785.24 cr to Afcons, ₹623.55 cr to Shankaranarayana, both awarded 2021-05-25) — these are separate contracts for separate stretches of this phase, not additive into one project cost and not a substitute for the combined total above.
