Context
Total construction cost as reported at opening. Other reporting found in this collection pass gives different figures for what may be different scope (a ₹247.41 cr civil contract to Simplex Infrastructure Limited, awarded ~February 2017; a separate ₹1,168 cr figure including ₹152 cr land acquisition) — neither of those two was independently confirmed against a fetchable source, so only this ₹298 cr figure is recorded; see project notes.
Sanctioned, released and spent are different things: an allocation is not evidence money was spent.

Notes and caveats
Became operational 2024-11-07, per The Metro Rail Guy and independently per Metro Rail News. Cost reporting conflicts across sources: ₹298 cr (Metro Rail News, at opening — recorded here), a separate ₹247.41 cr civil contract to Simplex Infrastructure Limited awarded ~February 2017, and a ₹1,168 cr figure including ₹152 cr land acquisition (both from unconfirmed secondary reporting, not recorded as figures). These may describe different scopes (one contract package vs. total project vs. total including land) rather than a true conflict, but this has not been resolved.
